Board of Directors Strengthens
Atkins & Gregory Ltd, ‘the cleaning people’, have made two new appointments to their Board of Directors.
 James Greenall is joining the board in a non executive role, bringing a wealth of financial and management experience. James’ career began by qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Price Bailey and he has latterly been developing CODAP Services Ltd into one of the most prestigious and respected Pegasus Software partners in the country.
Barry Nicholls has taken up the role of Operations Director. Barry has rapidly risen through the ranks of Atkins & Gregory Ltd and has now been rewarded for his outstanding commitment to customer service and customer retention, a trait that has been a major contributor to the outstanding success of Atkins & Gregory Ltd, who are currently adding new business at the rate of 40% per annum.

 The Team have been responsible for improving standards and delighting the customer for a year now.
 The four separate franchises, Ford, Nissan, Citroen & Peugeot require maintaining to the same standards as the most expensive new cars in the showrooms.

  Both Marcia Dacas and Josie Edgley each received £200 as winners of the Annual Attendance Award Bonus. Marcia, who works at three separate sites (Robinsons Mercedes, Mott MacDonald & Savills LLP), and Josie who works at Grant Thorntons and Music Sales in Bury St Edmunds, qualified for the annual draw by having 100% attendance in at least one of the previous four quarterly draws.
Barry Nicholls commented “employees such as Marcia and Josie are the backbone of our success and their award is richly deserved”.

Rising Through the Ranks...New Appointments
 Chris Watts has taken up the post of Account Manager at Marshalls of Cambridge. Chris is responsible for a team of 19 ensuring that eight showrooms, ten workshops and three hangers as well as the Specialist Vehicle H.O Building are all cleaned on a daily basis.
 Gemma Moore has been promoted from Site Supervisor at Mott MacDonald to Assistant Account Manager. Gemma, who continually demonstrates a passion for quality and a ‘can do’ attitude, is now part of Barry Nicholls (Operations Director) team servicing over 50 sites across Cambridgeshire and Suffolk

Yet Another Milestone...
Thiago Pedroso recently became the 150th employee to join the team at Atkins & Gregory. Thiago who works at Crown Estates said “I had no idea the Atkins & Gregory team was so large, having been part of it for a few weeks now I can see why it has grown so successfully, so rapidly”.

Who Says You Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks…
Ivan Desforges and Danny Worth recently attended a professional carpet cleaning course in Surrey. As well as the practical element of using the equipment, Ivan and Danny explored the theory behind the differing types of carpets and the relevant detergents needed for the different applications. Ivan commented “even though I’ve been cleaning carpets for years, I didn’t realise technology and chemicals had moved on so much”.
